Wednesday morning we headed back to Matafo to do dramas, puppets and skits for the kids and teachers at this school of mentally disable kids. Our skit team did a skit called "Road Trip". Basically it was a road trip down the Romans Road. As one team discribed the road trip, others were holding poster size signs with the Romans Road. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, etc...) and had the teachers read along with us. We know the word ministered to their hearts.
We then did our Faafetai drama to close it out, which means Thank You in Samoan. Our team did great with the drama and a lot of the teachers were singing along and snapping their fingers to the music. The song basically says thank you Lord for all the things he has done. The Spirit of the Lord was in this place.
At the end, the center turned around and thanked us for coming and not just for today but the years that CC Southbay has been coming to minister. They blessed us with ea lava lava's, fruit, purses, shirts...very traditional Samoan thank you. We were all very touched by their gifts of gratitude.
Pictures to follow. Thanks for following us and praying for us...again we can't do this without you!
Faafetai tele lava! (Thank you very much!)
