Sunday Morning

Thank you to all of you who prayed for us for this missions trip. We are amazed and in awe that God would use the bunch of us to do His work in American Samoa. Many people receive counsel in regards to their health but also to their soul. We, in turn, learned new things especially about witnessing to others about the love the Christ in our lives. Alleluia!
Thank you Jesus for allowing us to go on this trip to minister Your gospel through medical outreachs, through animal balloons and dramas. It would be all null and void if You were not the center of it. Praise be Your Name!

Saturday a.m. -Fagasa Medical Outreach

We headed to a village called Fagasa for another medical outreach. The villagers slowly trickled in but by the end of our time, we had seen close to 50 people come through the doors. After they had seen our Physicians Assistant, they were also offered to be pray for.
As the patients were being seen our teens began doing animal ballons for the kids. A new ballon hat was designed this day, can you tell which one?

Friday - Harvest Festival

On Friday, we help setup with CC Samoa for their annual Harvest Festival.

We did balloons and drama's through the night. Pastor Tuvai did a great job as our MC for the night.

Thursday Morning at Samoa Baptist School

Early Thursday morning we went to Samoa Baptist School to minister to the kids and the teachers. We performed several of CCSB's VBS songs with motions that were taught this past July to the team members. The kids at Samoa Baptist were so enthusiastic and joined in immediately with the motions to the songs.

Wednesday a.m. - Matafao

Wednesday morning we headed back to Matafo to do dramas, puppets and skits for the kids and teachers at this school of mentally disable kids. Our skit team did a skit called "Road Trip". Basically it was a road trip down the Romans Road. As one team discribed the road trip, others were holding poster size signs with the Romans Road. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, etc...) and had the teachers read along with us. We know the word ministered to their hearts.

We then did our Faafetai drama to close it out, which means Thank You in Samoan. Our team did great with the drama and a lot of the teachers were singing along and snapping their fingers to the music. The song basically says thank you Lord for all the things he has done. The Spirit of the Lord was in this place.

At the end, the center turned around and thanked us for coming and not just for today but the years that CC Southbay has been coming to minister. They blessed us with ea lava lava's, fruit, purses, shirts...very traditional Samoan thank you. We were all very touched by their gifts of gratitude.

Pictures to follow. Thanks for following us and praying for us...again we can't do this without you!
Faafetai tele lava! (Thank you very much!)

Tuesday evening - Medical Outreach

We drove to the east side of the island to do a medical outreach that only God could ordain on Tuesday evening. The pastor of the congregational church invited us to come and minister to the people of his church and also his village. We were so blessed to see how God had worked all things out. We worked together with Department of Health as the people went from one station to another getting their vitals signs checked as well as blood pressure checked. We also had animals balloons given out to the kids as they waited for their parents or themselves to be seen by the nurses and our physicians assistant. We then also had the opportunity to pray for anyone that wanted to receive prayer and anointing of oil which was basically not denyed by anyone. It was amazing to see God in the midst. Pictures to follow shortly.

Thanks for you prayers....we can't do this without it! Friday night we have the Harvest Festival with CC Samoa, which we have been inviting everyone to since we arrived. Lord willing it will be a great harvest!

Tuesday Aug 17th - LBJ Hospital

We were ministering to people outside of the hospital, while our nurse team was ministering inside the hospital.
